The car was described as being in good condition however here is a list of the problems with the car.
No cruise control despite being claimed to have it in the listing
some panel damage was show in photos and described however thee is minor panel damage at the front right guard and the bumper bar as well as approx 10 hailstone dings in the roof that was not mentioned.
Poor paint job on the rear spoiler and side skirt.
The first ones make the car un-road worthy
Hand Brake not working
One bald tyre
One tyre with a slash in the side wall
One tyre just legal tread depth
Spare tyre completely bald
Rear seatbelt was stuck and wouldn't retract
Tie rod boot completely torn open
Steering rack, two holding bolts were very loose and rack was moving around
Left rear door hard to stay closed, frequently comes open again
Rear wheel bearings worn
Electric cooling fans don't work and the engine runs hot.
Fitted 4 new tyres but was unable to get a wheel alignment done as there was too much play in the suspension. An inspection at Pedders revelled major problems that would cost >$3000 to completely fix.
These next 3 items cost $650 to repair
Battery charging fault battery was overcharging, Air con not working, Electrical fault causing the indicator rely to tick frequently at times when the indicators were not being used
Some minor rust in the boot lid
Right rear door no black strip at B pillar
Gas struts on boot ineffective (boot dropped on my head the day after purchase resulting in 5 stiches)
plastic pieces missing from on top of the engine.
Missing plastic trim from the front seats.
Front seat sponge loose, it can lift up off the base!
Boot leaks, everything gets wet inside when it rains
No grease in the rear brake calliper pivot pins.
